Shine MSD

Following the tragic mass shooting that took place at Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018, two drama students who survived the attack, Sawyer Garrity and Andrea Peña, channeled their pain and anger into writing an original song called “Shine.” Their non-profit organization in South Florida, Shine MSD, strives to use the power of artistic expression for healing and unity.

I created two short promotional videos used as advertisements on Shine MSD ‘s website and social media accounts.

Role: Editor

Camp Shine is a ground-breaking summer program designed and run by leading national creative arts therapists, developed specifically for the MSD students and the Parkland community.

A visual representation of Shine MSD’s journey as an organization.

It is during our darkest moments that we shine the light.
— Shine MSD

Some extra footage I filmed at the University of Miami.
